The story of Anakota begins deep in the heart of the Knights Valley AVA in rural Sonoma County. Located in an ancient volcanic zone, this pristine and relatively unknown place offers incredibly unique and diverse soils and a climate perfectly suited to Bordeaux grapes. Launched in 2001, Anakota produces two single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons from the winery's estate vineyards in Knights Valley: Helena Dakota and Helena Montana.
