      A deep carmine red colour with a purplish hue. The nose offers an interesting combination of potency and elegance with predominantly intense aromas of black fruits such as blackberries and figs. Sweet spices including nutmeg intermingle with the potent aroma of dark chocolate in the background resulting in unique character and attitude. Aromas of cake and pastry fuse with light toasted notes that come from aging in French oak barrels. On the palate, it is very well structured and offers incredibly round tannins that lend volume, breadth, and a soft, sweet sensation. Very well-balanced acidity toward the mid-palate delivers an elegant, lingering finish.

      Critical Acclaim JS98 - James Suckling Such an amazing, floral nose with blackberries, blueberries, violets and other flowers. Full-bodied, yet so balanced and refined with vibrancy and energy. It's really racy and exciting with a super long, beautiful finish. Tight and super polished. Needs two or three years to open more. Beauty. Drink after 2021. V92 - Vinous Blended with 8% Petit Verdot also from Colchagua, this Purple Angel Carménère has a mentholated, thyme-infused nose with clear hints of ripe blackberry and cherry and smoky wood. A delicate wine with good volume in the mouth. The lush feel and muscular but loose tannins add nutmeg and cedar at the end.
