Ch?teau de Beaucastel is a winery located in the southern part of the Rh?ne valley in France, which is primarily noted for its Ch?teauneuf du Pape wines produced in a long-lived style.[1] For its red Ch?teauneuf du Pape, Beaucastel includes all 13 grape varieties that are traditionally part of the blend,[2] and uses a higher-than-usual proportion of Mourv?dre. The special Vielles Vignes cuv?e of Beaucastel's white Ch?teauneuf du Pape is a varietal Roussanne wine, which is rare in Rh?ne and rarer in Ch?teauneuf du Pape.
