2015 was quite a warm, mild year with higher yields than 2014 due to better fruit set. This resulted in a more fragrant and floral wine than the 2014. We had a lot of different batches of Pinot which we treated in a variety of ways. The resulting blend is about 10% whole bunch which adds a little stalky, savory complexity and 100% wild fermentation was used to make this wine. All batches were fermented in small open fermenters which were hand plunged daily. The wine was matured in French oak for 9 months with about 20% of the oak being new oak.
