Wirra Wirra Scrubby Rise Red 2015 750 ML

When the Wirra Wirra tribe built a viewing platform to take in the majestic outlook over our Scrubby Rise vineyard, it was soon christened The Jetty. The fact this structure overlooks sedentary vines and not a raging sea seemed somehow appropriate given Greg Trotts decision all those years ago to name a flat, barren landscape Scrubby Rise.
\nDeep plum color with a bright crimson edge, the 2015 Scrubby Rise unfolds bright, ripe raspberry and sweet mulberry fruits laced with fragrant cabernet leaf and dried herbs. On the palate, the wine shows aromas of juicy red berries, ripe blue and black fruits as well as blood plum richness. The generous fleshy fruits are supported by supple tannins and provide a wine with great flavor, freshness and balance.

\nTry pairing with lamb shoulder and Mediterranean spices, roast zucchini, squash and capsicum.
