The 2014 vintage is composed of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Cabernet Franc boasting an 18-month aging in 100% French Oak, 30% of which are new barrels. Crafted Brands is proud to have Bill Knuttel on board as the Winemaker for the initial 220 case production with a commitment to the 2014 vintage.

TESTING NOTE

Dark ruby garnet color. Aromas and flavors of red cassis, spice cabinet, chocolate cookies, green peppercorns, and sage with a satiny, crisp, fruity medium body and a tingling, interesting, medium-long finish with notes of honey-roasted nuts and olives with medium, grippy tannins and moderate oak flavor. A fruity, grippy red blend from Dry Creek Valley that hits the nail on the head; enjoy its layers of flavor tonight!
