In 2006, after several years working for others, he set out to produce a wine he could call his own. He explored Chile extensively, traveling to remote corners to discover unique properties that he felt possessed a potential for greatness. One such site is a 70 year-old carignan vineyard whose fruit was blended with malbec and syrah to create his inaugural blend.
Deep, dark purple in color, with ripe, densely packed aromas of red cherry, currant and cedar. Round and mouth-filling on the palate, with ample soft and sweet tannins, fi nishing with a lively acidity.
