The 2016 Cabernet Franc is a combination of the Titus Estate Vineyard and Sugarloaf Mtn vineyard in South Napa. The combination of slightly cooler climate Cabernet Franc from Sugarloaf and the Titus Cabernet Franc makes for an exciting blend of Cab Franc characteristics, combining the power of St Helena and the grace and floral notes of South Napa. The aromas present here are bright and perfumed, with hints of cherry, red currant, Mexican chocolate and dried basil. That sweet and savory nose is followed up on the palate with a tasty combination of dried cranberries, pomegranate, plum sauce, cardamom and vermouth.
