Corner Creek 10 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon was aged for 10 years in American Oak Casks. The nose is subtle with an initial pop of vanilla followed by light toffee notes towards the end. At first sip you'll find a creamy vanilla – almost like a vanilla ice cream. There are some citrus and some herbal notes. While it is complex, it's not over-powering to taste. On the finish you're left with cinnamon and then some heat. It finishes very hot for an 88 proof bourbon. Although 10 years old, the lower proof impacts the golden, straw-like color. This bourbon is very light bodied bourbon which can be enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
