Bright, medium ruby-red. Aromas of blackberry, violet and smoke are complicated by licorice and leather nuances. Boasts an attractive balance of sweetness and acidity, with almost Syrah-like dark fruit flavors showing a sexy gamey quality as well as a hint of graphite minerality. No shortage of personality here! Nicely intense Malbec with ripe, even tannins and very good length. Aged in concrete vats and used barrels.
