      Bernier is an estate-bottled wine from the Couillaud brothers of Ch?teau de la Ragoti?re, from vineyards just outside the appellation of Muscadet. They are separated only by a small road and the soil is almost identical to that of Muscadet, a heavy clay with a little bit of chalk.

      The 2012 Grolleau is a beautiful showing from Clau de Nell, offering bright aromas of black raspberry and black berries followed by fresh violets, minerals and black tea leaf which all come together as this slowly begins to unwind in the glass. This medium-bodied red continues to impress on the palate with lovely focus, balance and vibrant acidity that takes it all the way through the mouthwatering finish.
