The McWilliam family name stands for a long history of excellence in winemaking, a tradition which stretches back to the earliest days of the Australian wine industry. Since 1877, when founder Samuel McWilliam first planted vines on the banks of the Murray River in New South Wales, the McWilliam family have produced six consecutive generations of winemakers.
Vibrant rouge with red hues. Aromas of plum, blackcurrants and dark cherry fruit dominate the nose with hints of black pepper, spice and vanillin toasty oak adding complexity. Soft and medium bodied with flavors of dark red fruit, black berry and cherry. This Shiraz has subtle fine tannins and toasty oak which provides excellent length and balance to the overall flavor.
