Bernard Gros is the son of the famous Burgundian vigneron Madam Gros and runs this 20.67 acre Domaine. He is a dominant personality, a man of few words and those are chosen carefully. The wines of this Domaine are hedonistic, rich versions of Pinot Noir and are easily considered among the very best that the Cotes de Nuits has to offer. Gros controls the temperature of fermentation at cooler levels and this after lengthy cool maceration. He refuses to include press wine in the Cuvee. The wines\n \n \n have an incredible level of an extract with rolling waves of cassis and raspberry. Richebourg 2.57 acres. Grands-Echezeaux .86 acres. Clos Vougeot Musigni 3.7 acres. Vosne Romanee 7.54 acres. Bourgogne Pinot Noir six acres.\n \n View More
