At Emiliana, the organic vineyards literally teem with life. Vineyards buzz with various bugs, bees, birds and native wildlife that together provide a natural and effective defense against common vine-destroying insects. Flowers and native plants thrive throughout the organic vineyards, providing another simple and cost-effective method of pest control and helping to counteract the detrimental effects of soil degradation. The use of chemicals is shunned, in favor of natural compounds, such as copper and nitrogen. Compost is sourced from spent grape skins and stems.
A double gold at the German & Asian wine awards plus a silver medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards, this incredibly fresh and fun sparkling wine from Dos Almas is one of our best values of the year! Made by Italy's famed Zonin family, Dos Almas is made in a Prosecco-like style, blending 90% Chardonnay with 10% Moscatel into a light, elegant sparkling wine, with soft floral aromas, citrus notes, and fine bubbles. Crafted in the coastal Casablanca Valley, the maritime influence from the Pacific Ocean moderates the average temperatures and generates perfect conditions for white varieties like Chardonnay. With temperatures on the rise, this sparkling wine can be served well-chilled for a Sunday brunch, or pair with grilled fish, oysters, and even desert!
