The winery was completely remodeled in 2007. The winemaker and general manager is Todd Graff. A UC Davis graduate, he has worked in Bordeaux, Germany, New Zealand and California, including Schramsberg Vineyards.
Patriarch is deep ruby in color and offers a beautiful bouquet of aromas, including blackberry, black cherry, cedar, cloves and a hint of cocoa. It's full bodied and powerful, yet also friendly on the palate with flavors of juicy plums and an elegant mouthfeel with high tannins. The finish leaves a long and lasting impression with a subtle freshness.
