      \n \nFrom Apalta, Colchagua, Montes Alpha is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot and Petit Verdot. Time in barrel enhances the flavors of black currant, cherry and mint. A complex wine held together by firm, polished tannins that compress it like a well-tailored corset, so that the fruit reverberates in the mouth. \n \n

      This newly released vintage of our super icon Montes Alpha M impresses with an intense and very lively ruby colour. The nose offers its characteristic elegance and aromatic richness. Notes of liquorice and cherry are immediately apparent, and as the wine opens up aromas of sweet chestnut, nutmeg, crème de cassis, and tobacco appear, all well-integrated with delicate toasted oak. The palate is beautifully balanced; medium- to heavy-bodied, with smooth tannins. Cooked black fruit flavours appear and underscore notes of sweet spice, which linger on the palate.
